HOME MAKERS CLUB

The club aims to teach its members different household chores that can help them in future. The Club focuses on home making which include the purchase, preparation and service of good food, the selection and making of clothes, the choice of house furnishings and the care of people.

The club organizes different cooking and baking activities that can help the students inculcate good values. These activities will make the students to have self confidence in running the day to day activities of the home as well as preparing them in rendering services to any environment they find themselves. The Club activities include:

To generate income using the available resources by grooming young people to be financially independent
To identify skills in cooking and weaving of fabrics.
To demonstrate different techniques in food preparation, processing and preservation.
Safety habits in preparing food.
To prepare different delicacies.
To prepare simple snacks.
To identify the needs of the students by teaching them good house-keeping skills.
It also grooms the young ones for future home keeping..
