MARYWOOD GIRLS COLLEGE
The school, formerly a Government school, was handed over to the archdiocese of Lagos on the 17th of March 2008. His Eminence, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, the Archbishop of the Catholic Archdiocese, rebuilt it and handed it to the Sisters of St. Louis to manage. The then Provincial leader of the Sisters of St. Louis, commissioned Sr. Christiana Adegoroye (the pioneer Administrator) and Sr. Mary Ogunjobi to the school on the 25th of August 2010, to ensure the take- off of the school.
We are inspired in our life and mission by the vision of our founders, especially by Louis Bautain’s vision of a world healed, unified and transformed by the saving wisdom of Christianity.
We try to make our own their spirit of prayer, enthusiasm for the Gospel and sensitivity to contemporary needs.
Our school have a lot to offer for our students, we foster future leaders through work and play; feel free to call us to book a visit.
