DRAMA CLUB
Drama has proven to be a very important tool in disseminating information. Drama Club provides members with opportunities to explore various drama techniques as well as design, stage their own home-made productions based on school life experiences or observations as they happen and current affairs with the aim of educating, entertaining and informing the society.
The drama club activities are directed towards:
- making a child to be self-confidence;
- discovering the acting, performing, presenting a play about events in the society and performance skills of its members
- creating a platform for constructive and positive self-expression and enhancing team-work abilities.
- written short plays, directed and presented by the club members have also served to strengthen the effectiveness of the club.
- It will help students improve their communication skills in English, through the use of role-play, script-writing, and improvisation.
- Students will learn how to think critically in order to successfully participate in dramatic impromptu presentations.
- Students will be able to perform in front of an audience in a complex culminating task
- Students will be able to manipulate body movements and facial expressions to convey appropriate emotion and meaning in drama presentations..
- It will help the students to develop the ability to express themselves imaginatively and creatively
