School Facilities
The school has the following facilities in place :
- Conventional and Electronic Library.
- An efficient water treatment plant (Reverse Osmosis-RO), which converts hard water to soft pure water, eliminating any metal, or bacteria in the water.
- An efficient borehole.
- We have three 10,000 litres tank and four 5000 litres tank for storing water. These supply water to every part of the school.
- An air conditioned refectory
- Well-furnished classrooms with adequate instructional resources, furniture and fans.
- well furnished laboratories, comprising SCIENCE, BUSINESS & HUMANITIES
- Solar powered inverters on in all classroom blocks and laboratories
- Smart boards in classrooms and laboratories
Our Well Equipped Computer Room
We Train Our students to be familiar with computers and IT.Computer Studies is an integral part of our Curriculum at Marywood Girls College.
Our computer rooms are well equiped with start-of-the-art IT accessories. We also run a computer network which covers all areas of the School.
Access to the Internet is heavily filtered: during prep, the girls are allowed access only to sites selected by staff.
Security levels are high and the students are taught about the safe, responsible use of computers, the internet and email from day one.
